Hi there.

To use 7 deadly sins with Galaxy Forge 3, I'm copying the GalaxyScenarioDef file into the GF3 folder and overwriting the old one. Works fine, and now we can make maps for Entrenchment, considering no-one knew that already. However, whenever I choose a Sins Plus planet from the look-up wizard in Galaxy Forge, the image of the planet appears grey and cratered. Do you have any GIF files for these planets similar to the existing images in the icons folder?

Went and downloaded the latest version fo Galaxy Forge, and the download links on filefront say the pack doesn't exist?...

I had the same problem High_Guard, they say they'll put it back up with the new version. Though if anyone still has it can you put it up again. Please. 

I uploaded the files to filefront again but, I haven't updated them in a while so I don't know if they'll work.

EDIT: Now here's a question - I can make maps and galaxies and such, but cannot play them in-game. Any thoughts?

FYI: I'm running Entrenchment with the Distant Stars mod. I imagine that's part of the problem?...

assuming you have sins 1.16+/entrenchment 1.02+,  the galaxy forge maps NEED to be placed here for xp
C:\Documents and Settings\'user name'\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\GalaxyForge

or here for vista/windows 7
C:\Users\'user name'\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\GalaxyForge.

NOTE the first two folders after the 'user name' are hidden , so to see them you must first click on 'tools' then 'folder options', then 'view', then click on 'show hidden files& folders' then click ok, then you will be able to browse your want to the folder. I suggest when you find the folder that you create a shortcut to it on the desktop

if you have placed the maps in the program files galaxy folder you will want my galaxy.manifest manager OR edit the \entrenchment\galaxy.manifest to include your map names and increase th files count at the top of the file

also the galaxy forge maps only show up in the galaxy forge tab of map types

and if a map you want to play was released before 25th feb 2009 then you will also neet the sins map updater from here

Topic was started in 2008 !!! It is 3 year ago... since SOASE, 7DS, Sins Plus, Galaxy forge have "evolve"... new version of everything exist... 

Yes and I've just sent all my Beta 4 modifications to Dan, which includes a totally new GalaxyScenarioDef file and a Deadly Forge all packaged up.  Don't expect Beta 5 to be released, Dan and his wife have their hands full with a newly released project

Its hopelessly out of date.

We're working on getting Beta 5 out the door, I'm already working on something that might make it into 6 or not, but Beta 5 has 7DS versions of the current maps and a couple of new ones.

is it possible to play it with soase trinity?

Only using the entrenchment.exe not the diplomacy.exe.

7DS 2.5 Beta 6 -well, 7DS 2.5 is Entrenchment only.  Click to open SOASE, then select chapter, then Entrenchment.

Deadly Forge will be released with 7DS 2.5 Final when the GSDEF file is finalized.
