FORUM SEEMS SLOW

Is there still some maintenance going on or is it summat else ?

Just wondering guys .. I have just finished doing my weekly cleanup of all things PC , ~ Cache , Registry , Startup Items History and the like ..

I have just logged in using the WC Browser ... ( I subscribed last night , so I am still finding my way around ..)

~ and all Pages from WC are loading in really ,really , REALLY  slow ...

Other sites are loading up as normal ..

XP Pro SP 2 full OD , 8 meg B/band , a fast Quad core PC , so I am stumped ..

Hi mike b1954, you might try selecting Tools, then Settings and then Internet and change the server you are using. I use SDC and the Web Browser, which is the same as the WC Browser and don't have any slow down. I'm using server 1.  ;)

The forums always have their moments mike. Usually if I have problems loading a forum page I just click another link on my favorites bar and if it loads right up then I assume that its just that they are working on the forums or the forums are busy and sluggish. Usually doesn't last long though.

Then again I never browse the forums in the Wincustomize browser or SDC.

Switch to FF and use the fasterfox add-on.

Update !!

For a while everthing seemed fine and now , even landmail seems faster this evening ...
