Start Menu Malfunction

I just got OD last night. I love the program and it worked great at first, but then when I clicked on the start menu icon, it said that it wasnt able to open it. I uninstalled and reinstalled it this morning to see if that would help but it didn't make a difference. I would definitely like to purchase OD+ but I don't want to do it if the start menu won't work.  And also I had the 'hide windows taskbar' unchecked, but my task bar was still hidden. Any suggestions on what could be going on?

Right now I've got the free version. But I want to get plus if I can get it working right. I've got version 1.90 and Vista.

maybe it's vista thing... I run the freeloader version never had the docklet not work... just don't like the screen placement

I prefer to use this:


set wShell=wscript.createobject("wscript.shell")
wShell.sendkeys "^{ESC}"


copied into notepad, saved as 'start.vbs'

then point a shortcut to it on the dock

Alright. I tried doing that but all it does is blink. the icon i mean, like its loading, but doesnt actually do anything. could it just be the fact that its Vista? but this program is compatible with Vista, isn't it?
