Freeze/crash when trying to connect to iron-clad online

anyone else get this?

Apologies if this has already been brought up (I couldn't find another post on it), but whenever I go into iron clad online and attempt to login, I freeze/lock up right when hitting "enter' to finish the login. The music continues, but that's it. Any ideas?

have u tried this :

1. close a software firewall ?
2. close all antivirus & antispyware programs ?
3. close all non-essential, background, user-associated programs* ?
4. run the game in a window (set in the visual options) ?

* in win XP, i only keep the vital explorer.exe running before launching Sins

I have a similar problem running ZoneAlarm.

Simply shutting off the software firewall is not an option. On my campus network, my computer would be infected within moments.
