So Whats the final Word?

Too early it seems for a final word, but from the way things are looking the most significant changes are indirect nerfs/buffs that stem from the changes to economy and Black Market.

TEC is buffed by means of being by far the best for credit income, and the new Black Market is almost immovable. A "Boom" is rarely more than the price going above 500 credits for 100 of whatever resource, but it reverts to it's old levels very quickly, and the vast majority of a game it will linger in the 300-400 range. Combined with TEC's existing advantages, TEC is currently in a very strong spot.

Vasari was nerfed indirectly by this, since Vasari could usually get decent resources (one path for upgrading resources and all) and sell them for credits. Now that Market is dirt cheap Vasari cannot use it to make much of a profit while TEC can negate the Vasari resource advantage just by using trade ports and buying away. Dark Armada wasn't changed which you could argue was overpowered before this, but it looks like at this point Vasari and Advent could use all the help they can get.

Advent aren't as helped by these changes as TEC or hurt by them as Vasari, since they do get Trade Ports before Vasari and can usually scrounge up decent incomes. Culture The Illuminator got hit with an even greater resource cost than the other LRM's, a bizarre choice seeing how little use they had before this. Culture seemed to get a boost overall, but most of the time Advent culture just means you get to die in areas with your color on the phase lines.

The patch has only been out a day though, so things might change, but right now it's looking like TEC has a nice boost above the other two.
