WC Uploading problems?

I really had no idea on where to put this so I thought "General"would be a good spot.

So whenever I am trying to upload a new LogonStudioVista file along with the screenshot of it, I get an error message.  Saying how the screenshot is in the wrong file format, which is wrong because it is saved in the .jpeg file format.

I have tried all 3 internet browsers, same error each time.  Any help?

Please provide the full file name for the preview image and for the uploaded file

The file I am trying to upload is

B:\Pictures\Photoshop Work Jpegs\ X-Marks.jpg

and

B:\Pictures\Photoshop Work PSDs\Logon Screens\ X-Marks.logonvista

they are both the proper file names

Are you using upload.aspx or upload2.aspx?

Also, double-check to make sure the jpg is in the preview field, and the logonvista is in the skin field.  I've swapped the two by accident before.

Log out, clear cache, cookies & temp internet files, close and restart your browser, login and try again.

I haven't been able to reproduce the problem yet on my end.

Just wanted to come back and let folks know I solved my problem with uploads.

You are not going to believe this, really. Apparently there are limits as to the the size of the file sent and how much information you type in the description. I cut out most of the stuff in the desciption and it uploaded fine. I then went back and added paragrahs back one a time in the description. I was able to add one or two back.  ;)

Once it's out ot moderation I guess I'll type a reply and add the rest of the description. Go figure.

It isn't your file type. It's your file size. The preview is to big mb wise. I had same issue before. Once I changed the compression, it was good.

I'll give that a shot.

X-Marks

Maybe you should try in avoiding to use the special character
try to rename the files to XMarks without the "-"
Not a problems for the upload name you can still call it X-Marks.
