Problem Installing 1.2

I am having difficulty installing patch 1.2. I downloaded the patch from the website and installed it without a problem but on the bottom right corner of the game, it says the game is still v 1.0. I would like to install the patch ASAP because there are a few mods I would like to try out and apparently v1.0 does not have a mods folder. Also, I am running VISTA.

That's very strange. You might also try downloading Stardock Central and updating that way if the patcher sin't working.

Ok I did some modify/repair and now my game says that it is now v1.2. Thanks for the quick response kyro!
