Text not appearing on Pol. Machine

Where r the words?

Everytime I run the Political Machine on my computer the text(characters, traits, titles, words) is always missing. I have re-downloaded and re-installed the game several times, but with no different results. If anyone can tell me why this is happening and/or how I can fix it I would really appreiciate it.
