Need a Favor From Someone with Vista

Need a Screenshot or Two

I am trying to skin a blind with a Vista substyle. The problem is that I don't have Vista. What I would like to do is get a look at a screenshot of some of the parts in action. My main concern is how everything relates to each other, and where the text is and what colors the text needs to be, etc.

Could someone with Vista take a screenshot of the control panel, navigation parts, and explorer parts in use? I am using the 'Turbo' blind as a reference for the parts, so a screeny of that blind would be awesome, but any blind would be helpful.

Thank you in advance!

Rick, If your a Object Desktop subscriber, Turbo is a Subscriber Premium (free) Skin.

Xiandi, I will be more than happy to help but it will be 5:00 EST before I can get to my Vista machine.

Thanks Alternate Setting, I'll take you up on that offer for testing.  :D  It may be a while before I am ready for it though, I don't get much skinning time lately because of long hours at work.  X-(

:)

There are  a number of Vista parts that need "speacial" skinning.  The Stardock Design folks are almost the only skinners that get them all.

I see missing elements on the Network connection dialog often.  {Not that it's used much by many people . . but *I* use it and notice.

The only thing that I have a problem with.. In vista when you press the more programs, it doesn't pop up as a menu. It appears in the actual left pane. You probably know this but... The reason I have a problem with this is because if you make the left pane a different color than the rest of the left part... when the all programs part shows the color you have for the left pane may surrounding the all programs list? If you haven't figured that out. You probably don't know what I mean. it is hard to explain but I will test anything you make if you like. I have a 17'' wide screen display. I can tell you if anything is left out and stuff? I am a newbie but I will do anything i can to help. Probably a little late on this thread but... Just trying to help? :D :D :D :D :D :D :D ;)
