Total Annihilation Resource Mod

I have no idea how I would do this, but I'll ask all the experts out there.

One of my fav games is total annihilation, and thats due mainly to how the rersources drain when your units fire their weapons.  My question is simply this.  Is there anyway to do the same in SINs.  If it cant be done with the weapons firing then have resources drain per ship and structure.  Id prefer that to the current supply method that is being used.  Your fleet cannot be too big because it will be too expensive and it  will bankrupt you.

There are no buff modifiers that take away credits or other resources, except for a planet one which wouldn't work for that. There are ones that GIVE you credits, but that's obviously not even close to what you're suggesting.

You could, though, make antimatter not regen and force the player to create supply ships (that take res to make) to resupply them.

EarnResources is supposed to give credits... but I was just testing it and it seems to just give the same amount to metal and crystal, don't know if there's a way to set which resource it affects. it works with negative numbers.
