i just got Sins and went trew the toturials but i cant find out how to make fighter ships, i got attacked by pirates and all i had was frigets and died, can anyone help me out??? : (

What's wrong with frigates? Frigates are your main fighting force.

Also build turrets in the systems, nice and close together, near the planet and on the side the enemy will come from. That toasts pirates nicely.

Anyway, if you have anything selected that can build fighters (hangers, carriers and most capital ships) you'll have an option in the far bottom right to tell it to build fighters / bombers. Just select the unit that can build fighters first.
