Can't download updates with SC

Hi everyone, First, let me apologize for my awful english, i'm only a poor french fan of Galactic Civilization. This week, i found the Galactic Civilization II in a store near my home, and i decide to jump from the first game, to the newest. I install the game today, and when i tried to download the Updates, Stardock Central said that my serial number wasn't good. I tried to go to the "European page", but they ask for the serial from the english version only, or the Collector's Edition. Unlucky for me, i have the French simple Edition (what a shame, i know ^^), so, my serial doesn't work neither on the page or the Stardock central utility. I'm looking for some help from Stardock, or the game creators, who could read this forum and lead me to a solution (without bying again the game on the internet... Later maybe, when the new expansion will be released, to buy all this stuff in one shoot) By avance, thanks. Raphi Le Sobre.

Are you sure your serial doesn't work? As far as I know you should be able to register serials from all game versions in Stardock Central.

For other help you might have to wait until Stardock's next business day on Monday though. ;)

Thanks for your answers.
But i found why my serial didn't work.
In fact, i have to launch the game first, and register it directly from the launch menu when the soft ask for registration.
Rest of the time, i upgrade BEFORE launching the game, to avoid bugs, but in this case, it works in the other way.

Now, i'm happy, cause i can play to the game who helps me to forget Imperium Galactica II and Master of Orion.
