Need HELP on bootskins, theme and logon!

hi... i'm ew to all this customizing business...
and yeah, i'm gonna need all the help i can get.
first off.... i'm using windowsXP Professional 1024x768
if that info is needed.
and i've DLed a theme.. the latest updated BlackBoxx
and also i've DLed both Homer Bootskin and Logon.
how do i install these to make this work smoothly..? or just make it work...?
is there any application I should download...?
anyone please, tell me... ?
