Installation after Reboot

Hi,

I have read some of the previous problems with users having to reboot their computer after it has already been rebooted afther the installation. I am experiencing the same problem, with no services running or startup programs running.

I was just wondering, I think I may have used the program before on my computer however I'm still wondering if I'm trying to install a program I've already used the trial version on (Sorry if I am, not doing it intentionally). I am wondering if the problem with the reboot is caused by the fact the trial version has run out, or is this not assosciated at all.

Thanks,
Jamie McLeish

have you bought it? that could be a reason, if thats not the reason, download stardock central and download window blinds from there, it has the latest version, and you can get stardock to email you the latest activation codes if they are needed.

hope this helps!!

No I haven't bought it yet, I was trying to download the trial version however its saying it needs to reboot, I was wonderig if the fact I may have used it before, if it is saying it needs a reboot because of this problem then I will consider purchasing it.

Thanks!

I think (after reading lots of posts) that is the problem - once the trial runs out, reinstalling generally doesn't work... will either keep wanting a reboot to finish install (which confuses it since once installation about complete, the timer starts, and once the timer kicks in - it notices the time is up {from previous install} = which deactivates it - which makes it thinks it's not done installing - which causes the need for the reboot = etc [some of the 'always asks for reboot' posts] or it may finish the install but stay non responsive to applying skins since the time is up (some of the "it only changes to windows classic" posts)

then I will consider purchasing it.
