Vista codecs?

I finished two dreamscene videos, but I got stuck on exporting into MPG or AVI format.

I'm not sure how to create good video. I tried XVID, but apperently that is not included in most Vista computers.

I need help on 2 aspects: Which codec do I use? How do I make a good video quality using those codec?

I use TMPGEnc 4 XPress and Vista Ultimate's Movie Maker for editing video for my dreams.

I found and used Microsoft movie encoder and used it to make good quality videos. Thanks! :D

I am now uploading both today.
