Font size is too small for me

Hi,
I've just purchased the game yesterday and I find the font incredibly hard to read. I'm running on a 24" widescreen @ 1920x1200 resolution with all settings on high or above. All other aspects of the game are beautiful except the font is too small. The typeface is rather chunky and does not lend itself well to a small font size. Tooltips are expecially hard to read. Don't make me look through the bottom half of my glasses...please! 
Does anyone know of a way to increase the font size and perhaps change the typeface? If not, I think the developer should consider allowing the user to change the font and the font size.
Other than the font and the somewhat steep learning curve, I'm enjoying every minute of the game.
You could see a lot more at 24 inches than what I could at 17 inches. I tried 1920x1200 at first and it was just too hard to play, so I lowered to 1440-something. If you crank up the AA and AF settings to compensate for the lower resolution, it really helps quite a lot without degrading the quality of the graphics.
