Install hangs at stardock_norm.png

I bought and downloaded the game using SDC today. The install hangs after it goes through "Validating Files" and "Extracting installation files" at "Extracting: Stardock_norm.png". I tried the install 4 or 5 times but always got the same behaviour.

I checked:

my disk space and I have still more than 40GB free disk space
no folders in backup
the file stardock_norm.pn_ exists in the temp folder

I noticed that the installation destination folder doesn't get created byt the install. So this might be security/permission related.
Oh, I also changed the destination to c:\sin but ran into the same problem.

I am runnning WinXp64 with the latest security patches installed and I am logged in as an Administrator.

Try installing the game in Safe Mode. That's fixed the problem for everyone who's run into this issue (don't ask me why).
