Positioning center of display on multiple monitor system

Hi!

Does anyone know if it is possible to position the dock in the middle of the display on a multi-monitor system. For example, I have 2 monitors and I want the dock to sit in the middle of the display so that half of it is on one monitor and the the other half is on another monitor...

How do I do this?

Hope one of you bright sparks can help!

Thanks!

Sarge

Sorry you have to designate what monitor it will be on then the choices you get are right, left, or centered.

Even manually forcing it over toward the other monitor will only grant the smallest of over hang.

I think it has something to do with the way the bar is encoded to adjust to how many icons are on it and what size. It uses your display settings to determine most of that information. Now at home I CAN do it because I have a video card (old Nvidia BFG) that allow the display to span both monitors. So if your video card manufacturer makes a software package that will layer that setting in then it is possible.
