There was a fire on my street tonight.  Someone's central AC unit started smoulder...produced a lot of smoke, but that was about it.

But the fire department came.  And members of said fire department were very....yummylicious. 

I had quite a pleasant time outside, watching them unroll their big hoses and run around in their bunkers. The best part, though, was when they got done and had to roll the hoses back up, because they took off their bunker shirts and were working in pants, suspenders and T-shirts.  Very nice..

...and I am reminded of how sad I am that I derive pleasure from watching young firemen!

I dunno...they go where no ordinary men go as part of their daily duties?  I know we have the bases almost covered...I'm married to a cop, you're married to a soldier, now all we need is a fireman's wife.

The uniforms help - I'm a sucker for a well pressed uniform, shiny boots and a high and tight.

Hmm, Dave's working tonight....when he went off his uniform was neatly ironed, his boots were shined and he just got his hair cut.....
