That's right folks..

I currently am not allowed to enter the United States of America.

Why?? My crime??

Am I a terrorist? No it is because I am HIV positive.

What threat do I have to the American people? I am considered a risk because I might pass on the virus or place a burden on the current user pay medical system. Hmm last time I checked I was aware of protection and my bank account was able to support me if needed.

Or maybe they are worried about me picking up something to damage my health?

Maybe Im just considered as a bioterrorist.

HIV's not strictly speaking contagious, but no nation will allow the entry of individuals infected with a fatal disease if they are aware of it. It's just too difficult to justify to the citizenry if someone else is infected.

I was gonna ask, do they check or something? That's ridiculous. Now ebola, I can understand that. But HIV? C'mon. (Could you sign a statement promising you wouldn't have sex? Or wear a chastity belt? I'm sure one can be fitted for men.)

Sorry to hear you can't visit the states. Although......... if you can gain entry to Canada, then it's pretty easy to come across (from what I've heard... I've never tried) to the states from there... I don't know about every country in the world, but I do know South Korea doesn't allow HIV+ people to come in. Probably North Korea, too, but that's for more reasons than just that... HAHA!
