Cannot post Metaverse scores

After upgrading to a membership on drengin.net, I can no longer post any scores to the Metaverse. I have tried reregistering my name and I have tried registering my drengin.net subscription number with a different user name, all to no avail. :( Any ideas or word on when this will be fixed?

Personally, I think the whole submission process should be revamped. It's annoying to have to save my game, get online, and then submit. Maybe have a way to queue wins and then update next time your online? :notsure:

Gwyned, check out this thread http://www.galciv.com/forum.asp?BID=GF&id=50123 for the ugly side of this problem.

The issue is that your registered player is registered with your standalone GalCiv serial and the metaverse system does not update itself automatically to recognise your new Drengin.net serial.

You can update your player registration manually with the Drengin.net serial, but you will lose all of your previous games (like me) and it will mess up any empires that you are a member of.

Brad is aware of this and I have emailed the details of the problem to guy who is in charge of this aspect of the game. Hopefully I, or Brad, or someone will be able to post that the problem has been resolved in the near future.
