If CBS had come clean on Friday, this story would be dying.

But instead, they militantly defended their absurd position implying that those who actually do work on a computer and thus could instantly recognize the fake documents were somehow part of some vast right wing conspiracy. The infantile insults directed at blog sites hasn't helped either. As one news executive put it "Blogs don't have any sort of back checking."  I guess that would make CBS a televised blog?

These documents just go to prove how desperate the media is to find dirt on any politician. Even if it is Bush 2.0

Pretty sad statement about the press in general i say.
