Hi ya, I am a complete newbie!

I have only found out tonight (well the early hours of today) that there is such a thing as 'BLOGGING'.

Can anyone in a simple sentence explain what 'BLOGGING' is? I also can't find a log off/sign out button does this mean that it is safe to close down this window without anyone being able to use my account?

Here goes: Blogging is writing a "web log" . . . posting your thoughts on issues, narrating personal life events, or sharing links, photos, and articles you have come across that you think others would enjoy reading. Your blog is as unique as you, and it is a great (and anonymous if you so choose) way to share yourself with others.

Nooby: Thanks fot this. Its a helpful definition. I tried highlighting your reply post and pressing Q. Nothing seemed to happen. Am I doing something wrong?

Welcome to JU. I would suggest that you read what others are writing to get a feel for things. But, basically it's your blog and you can write about pretty much anything you want.

Don't worry about the logging off stuff, it's all done with cookies.
