I'm pretty sure I originally got the idea from another blog I read at Joeuser months back. My hair has long since gotten out of control, as I haven't even had it trimmed in 9 months. Partly, this is because I don't have any ideas of what do to with it. Mostly, I'm too lazy and cheap. It's been easy to ignore because, like most guys, my boyfriend likes long hair and has encouraged me not to cut it.
But, the time has come - now that I have a good cause as incentive! So I've looked up participating salons on the Locks of Love webpage, and have left a message with the one closest to my house. I've got more than the recommended 10 inches, so I should be a good candidate. My hair is freakishly thick, hopefully they can use it for a couple of wigs. I just hope that the beautician can figure out what to do with it afterwards, because I still don't have any ideas...
