BUSH IS COOLER THAN KERRY

Vote Cool,Young People

I recently published an article on this matter of Bush being the'cool' candidate this year and wanting to re-stress this opinion to young folk, of which I once was a member, in hopes that you will be encouraged to vote cool this year, I'd like to drive that point home a little further. In a world such as the one found here in the U.S.A., divided as it is by people you can only hope to understand and only wonder if WYSIWYG...please allow me to offer you what I know to be the truth that you can bet on. George Bush is cool. He has a job that many would argue is the most difficult in the world. He has been on the job for the last 3 plus years, working under the most strenuous of circumstances, and being attacked not only from abroad, but from home in the most un-cool way, by power-hungry democrats and elite snobs from academia, not to mention loud-mouth dupes and idiots that just don't know any better, and look how cool he handles himself. I am the same age as the president, part of his generation, and I tell you he is cool. He's not perfect. He is not royalty and does not consider himself that at all. He looks around at those who stand with him and ask, " What do you think?" That's cool. That's what you want from a leader. More importantly, in the life and death issues that confront any leader of a nation, he humbles himself before the God of all creation, the one and only God, and ask for guidance. That is very cool. Young person, this year, this election...stand with us that believe in the goodness of this country. Be part of the defence of all that America is. We are a country that loves life lived freely, and believe that this land, this place we call home, is a beacon to the world around us. That is just the way it is. It's cool. We. as a nation, did what we had to do, and don't let anyone tell you different. We're cool, people. Someday, all this will be yours..(as the cliche goes), and you'll look back and see that George W. was right. That his leadership was to be commended. That he is cool. I think if Isay the 'c' word one more time...you all will think me un-....you know... Fine.

Oh,...let's just change the subject, ok? I'm here in lovely Sorrento, Italy, and the stars are shinning and la musica is softly fading into the cool breeze, and you want to talk politics. Goodnight, good sir. Allies are so cool.

Bush has my vote. I hope though he uses more wisdom before going to war next time so quickly. Get the American people's opinion more and let Americans go to war with him- if war is truly called for. I think though that some people will not like him no matter what he does. One last comment: He should not side with any country or person who tries to take land from Isreal. That includes the EU.
It is not wise.

People in the United States supported the general idea of using military action to remove Saddam Hussein by 69% to 26%.

You know what is cool? Choosing the leader of the free world based on his "coolness".

This is probably the dumbest piece of writing I have read in a long time.

"More importantly, in the life and death issues that confront any leader of a nation, he humbles himself before the God of all creation, the one and only God, and ask for guidance. That is very cool."

Indeed.

too bad he didnt do that when, as governor of texas, he signed off on the executions of 152 men and women.

in 2000, the chicago tribune reported that defense attorneys for 40 of the inmates executed during the bush governorship presented just one witness - or no evidence at all - during the sentencing phase.

in response then-governor bush said  "the great thing about america is that people have full access to courts. if you're asking me as to whether or not the innocence or guilt or people have had adequate access to the courts in texas, i believe they have."

the american bar association has concluded defendants in texas capital murder cases are often represented by incompetent, court-appointed lawyers and that the appeals process is slanted toward upholding executions. in one famous case, a man was on death row for 15 years despite the fact his attorney slept thru much of his trial.

several texas prosecutors have routinely  rejected black and hispanic jurors claiming they werent intelligent enough to understand the proceedings while winning death sentences in cases involving retarded and mentally ill defendants who truly are unable to assist with their own defense.

?? I would have gone with "rad" or "wicked awesome", but OK . . .

Um..I don't think it's so cool that he wasn't there for his country or forced soldiers into Iraq for no reason.

Bush is UNcool.
Kerry is Rad.

Go Johnny Go!

My impression is that everyone in this thread is decades away from coolness.

Yeah, great, encourage the voters of this country to choose a President on his percieved "coolness." Great idea, who cares about issues, political parties, or politics at all, as long as the leader's cool.

Power-hungry Democrats huh? I guess you have no political bias in judging his coolness right?

Snobs from academia huh? Yeah man, that education, it's so uncool, and those like... book things, they're totally for losers, who has time for that sort of thing when they could be watching Fear Factor?

And he sure does handle himself "cool," when coolness is measured by how little you care about others' opinions, suggestions, or thoughts on a topic, even if you know nothing about it, and your life's philosophy is "I DO WHAT I WANT!"

He looks around at those who stand with him and ask, " What do you think?"

And ignores those who don't agree with him. Wicked cool!

More importantly, in the life and death issues that confront any leader of a nation, he humbles himself before the God of all creation, the one and only God, and ask for guidance. That is very cool.

Ugh... just... ugh.

I'm going to pretend this is a sarcastic article.  Did anyone see that statement on sovereignty where a room full of reporters laughed at his imcompetence?

You might want to look into what the Bible has to say about what land was promised to whom before making statements you really know nothing about.
