First Job Interview.....Bad Day

Okey. Let me put put it this way. I am a graduating student of a prestigious university in my country. I am apply for a job in a call center here in Davao. It is called the People's Support Philippines Incorporated. It specialized in providing customer service on various US based companies. At first, I didn't know this.
I was there stand in line with my legs aching for about two and a half hours. And so it happens that I was called to be the next person to be interviewed. I was relieved at first but then my relief turned to agitation then to nervousness. "Rachel Reyes" the interviewer called. I stood and went to the booth and sat nervously the smiled. He asked me to introduced myself and I did. Then he questioned me about my dealings with a difficult person....and I blew it fast! I didn't answer in straight English. There are full of A's and O's and that are minus points to my thinking. Finally, he asked me if I have any questions about the company and I said "yes". And that was what is the product of the organization. And there I blew it.
Service is a product too. In a competitive world, services have a consistent trend of cushioning the effects of the economy particularly in the Philippines. With a manpower equipped with good English and technical skills, no wonder the country has been opted to be the future number one call center in the world.
I know I don't have the skills but I can learn and train hard. Yes, I have the English proficiency but I haven't practiced it regularly because the language used mostly is Visayan or Tagalog. I am interested but I don't know if that motivation is enough for most companies here. It would be nice for you to comment and tell me some tips on alleviating the nervousness. Thank you
