On 15th of august 2003 india will be celebrating 57th independence day. even after 5 decades of independence it has not devolved to the commonman.our constitutional functionaries have failed in their duties.
come to stark reality,refer "the week" dt27/07/03 page no.23.in the state of orissa's kalahandi,BANITA is on the verge of selling her youngest daughter just for a few rupees , to stave off poverty, to escape from hunger for a few days.it is the same mother banita who herself was sold in 1985 for the same reasons-poverty,hunger.then the primeminister of india mr.rajiv gandhi visited kalahandi & promised corrective administrative action.even after almost two decades,the primeminister of india has failed to ensure the self sustanance of a single individual-BANITA, what is the fate of lakhs of banitas in india?whereas the same constitutional functionariesshamelessly indulge in 5-star lifestyles,host grand parties overflowing with numerous courses of dishes,wine & meat,of-course ,all at the expense of poor indian taxpayer. for these V.V.I.Ps, mahatma gandhi is only a vote catching subject,to be eulogised during debates & speeches.in practice, they don't emulate the simple life style of "the father of nation".
come to another side, refer "the business world" dt28/07/03.it vividly explains the royal lifestyles ofthe super rich,for whom lakhs are peanuts.how these people have earned so much money,loads of money?is it through honest,ethical,legal means ?refer "the business world" dt 03/03/03 & 14/07/03 , to know how they by-pass paying the income tax,corporate tax, swindling the lending banks,the government,employees,vendors,the co-share holders & the general public.these minority of super rich in connivance with the ruling politicians are the cause for corruption,inflation,financing underworld,godmen & the separatist outfits.
in india,criminalisation of politics,judiciary,the executive is almost complete.a sample :
1.deccan herald dt 21/22/23 july 2003, an anti-corruption court presiding judge himself was convicted of corruption charges in the state of maharashtra.
2.the person who is accused of instigating mosque demolition in ayodhya & resultant violence throught india,accussed by 5 karsevaks -the eye witnesses & then b.j.p party chief minister of uttar pradesh.he is now the union home minister & the dy primeminister of india.nearly two years back one special police officer enquiring into ayodhya violence accidentally fell off from the train.
3.the persons who were responsible for the gujarath & godhra violences are constitutional functionaries in gujarath today.
4.the person who is accussed of inaction about various defence scandals & accussed of sheltering the myanmarese terorrists is the union defence minister today.
5.the person who is accussed of receiving money from foreign intelligence agency,is the wife of ex-prime minister of india & the present leader of opposition in the loksabha.
6.in the month of june 2003 (deccan herald) it was reported that one judge of northern state working as a pimp supplying mod girls to politicians & others.one judge of tamilnadu attempts to rape a woman in return for giving favourable judgement.
whatever be the scientific & the technological achievements of india, if the government cann't ensure basic neccessities to it's people, if it cann't ensure even a single piece meal per day to a person after 56 years of independence IT IS A SHAME TO ALL OUR CONSTITUTIONAL FUNCTIONARIES.
