Weather Radars

I have this fascination with looking at whats going on with the weather and watching predictions to see if they come true and also studying weather maps. When I was in the states I really wanted to catch a glimpse of a tornado..but it didnt happen, I was stuck in LA airport waiting for one to pass over to get to Chicago so my flight was delayed 6 hours.

So Hopefully this will work and you can get to see the weather as its happening over where I live in Oz..

I live in the states, and have ALWAYS wanted to see an actual tornado, no luck after 33 years. My state gets over 100 a season usually (I think - sounds high?) I constantly watch the radars on intellicast.com when severe weather approaches. I am fascinated by severe weather and absolutely love thunderstorms.

I am as well! There actually was a waterspout off the sydney basin over the weekend which was on the news, wish I had actually seen it! But the footage was fantastic.

I am interested in the sun - earth connection in terms of extreme weather and the number of sunspots and flares and their occurance and connection to when extreme weather happens on earth.
