What goes around..

...could this be the Karma I've been waiting for?

Shh....what I'm about to tell you you cannot tell anyone else.  I'm afraid that if I tell too many people I'll jinx myself and it won't come true/be true.

The morons next door are moving off base.  Next week.  I heard it from my friend down the street, and my kids also heard the same thing from the moron's kids.   My friend down the street is a no-bullshit kind of gal, so I tend to believe her....and the moron's kids are famously big-mouthed when it comes to secrets, so I'm inclined to think that this is a 'for real' situation.

I have yet to ascertain if they're being asked politely to move by the military or if they just decided that they want to live off base......to be honest, I don't care.  All I know is that if this is true and actually comes to pass my life for the next 35 days is going to be much more peaceful and stress-less.

I want to celebrate. I want to have a party in honor of the occasion.....but that wouldn't be nice and it also might upset the karmic scales that have just started to tip in our (Dave and I) favor.  So I'll settle for being privately satisfied instead.

D'ya think I should send them a goodbye card?!

You're right, Trina, it is the polite thing to do.  Pehaps I can find one that expresses just how much I enjoyed living next door to them....I'll go look in the 'dysfuntional' section of the Hallmark website.

Only if "goodbye card" is a euphemism for something anonymous and naughty.

It is unbecoming to gloat in victory. You are a better person than that.

Yes, and that's why I said :

I don't know if you were around (on JU) when all this started, but I've been accused of child abuse, neglect, molestation, adultery and other nonsense, have been interviewed, had my children interviewed, been investigated,  have had to tolerate their children letting themselves into my home and into my garage, rifling through my belongings...I've been villified and made out to be the pariah of the neighborhood by these people and their stupid friends, so I have good reason to be very satisfied and even celebratory that they're leaving.

I will do the right thing and not gloat, but I'm somewhat entitled, I think.

Elana says hi Auntie Karen
Sorry - she was trying to say hi on other peoples blogs so I decided here was the safest place to let her play for a couple of minutes.

Oh, absolutely....and maybe offer to help them pack? I'm kidding, I'm kidding.....just let them go quietly.....and celebrate privately once they are really and truly gone....have a drink for me too!

Don't instigate them or anything. If they ask, "Will you miss us?" or something, just answer honestly and nonchalantly. After all, they never seemed to care about you, so why should you care about them?

Send them a note.....

"Good bye and don't let the door hit you on the way out!"

Congrats!
