Well with that song in mind let me tell you my story.

I was driving a Tractor (yeah one of them there farm thingys) and I was singing the above song. As I got to the verse speaking of the clay I thought. G*d sometimes a pot doesn't come out right. You are G*d and you don't mess up. He replied to me, "You are right." Immediately I thought of my sin. Our sin dries out the clay causing it to crack and become disfigured. When we repent HE comes and takes fresh clay fixes what we messed up.

Not to be "holier than thou" or anything but the * is to show reverence to the name of G*d meaning the almighty one. I also think that our society has belittled the reverence or significance of his name by using it loosely.

This is the name of the Almighty G*D, just at the name nations would tremble. Where has that gone? I hope that helps answer your question.
