This is a great idea! Just remember to include information about where in Virginia you'd like to walk, how often and when you walk. Also, this does not have to be limited to walking, this is a wonderful resource if you bike, run, etc.

Good luck!

I live in Fairfax across from the Vienna Metro and Pan Am Shopping Center. I walk most evening after work around 5:30 to 6PM for 1 hour. On Saturday and Sunday I like to walk in the AM around 5 miles. I walk around 3.8-4.0 miles/hours.

My walking partner moved out of state.
If interested you can email me at [email protected].

Looking forward to walking with you!!!!
Terri

I like to walk each day at lunchtime and am a "life long" walker.
I would like to find a walking partner in the downtown Richmond area, especially in the Capital area, the Pocahantas, Madison or Monroe state buildings.
If you are interested in being part of a walking pair or group to walk at a fairly regular time each weekday during your lunchbreak for 30 minutes or so, PLEASE email me!

I'm surprised that this message board exists and no one is utilizing it...I am a VaDOC employee working in Roanoke. I have run several 5K's and would like to continue. We have a walking group here...wondering if there are any lunch runners in the area???
