"you have nice boobs" he said to me, for no apparent reason. i found it funny that he had been so random, and if it had been anyone else i might have been offended, but it was him, so i laughed. that's all i could do besides ask him why he felt so compelled to let me know. he then began to explain that he had liked me for a long time and he told me everything he had been thinking for the past year. although he stumbled a little when he expressed his feelings, and the words "i think you have a hot body" weren't exactly charming, he still somehow managed to get across that he liked me as a person. somehow i wasn't offended and somehow i actually appreciated it.
normally, a comment (even if it is a compliment) about my boobs would offend me. why? i've just always been raised to respect myself, and any guy that looks at me as an object isn't worth it. but for some reason it didn't really bother me this time. sure, i liked him at the beginning of the year, but i don't think that is the reason. it was probably because although he started off badly when confessing his "love", he ended beautifully by letting me know that he liked me for my personality and other non-superficial things.
it could be the truth or it could just be regular boy BS. either way, i will probably never see him again because he has already left for college and so will i very soon. it was nice knowing that i had an admirer.
