Powerful artifact?

April 3, 2003 3:10 PM from

I got a message from a spy saying that the Arceans acquired an artifact that grants them power and that the power increases over time. WEll, the Arceans in my game don't seem to be ranked high in any of the military/eco/social whatever and i have not been able to see any effect yet. Does anyone know what that artificat is?

That's a little item that will give the civ that found it +1 to a random ability every turn. In the short term, this is a marginal bonus (there are about 30 abilities to improve upon). Over time, however, this race can become quite powerful. It's up to you wether you want to risk that race becoming too powerful. Become allies, take them out quick, or hope for the best

Would be really nice if that random event could happen to you! Everyone would declare war on you though!
