Explorer Backgrounds

Explorer Backgrounds

The newest build of Windowblinds says in the history that an option has been added to change explorer backgrounds. Where can I find that option in WBconfiguration?

Special note for Stardock development team:

I know latest WB 6.09.e .b.126 is for Vista but see what it makes on XP (without any changing on settings ...):

1°) with WB 6.09.c.b.118

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

2°) with WB 6.09.c.b.126

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Please note in both cases the trouble with special image in low right corner. A solution should be that the background should be apply like in the #2, but on first part of right explorer background (name)  :p

neophil78: For some reason the XP build seems to have been downgraded to build 47.  I am unsure why this is but I will make sure the right build goes up later today.

Anyway Neil, the background feature is great to see back, the only trouble as mentionned, is if the right right part of explorer is "background skinned" then there's a glitch with special images ...

Should an option to set this particular part as special be possible ?

==> some ideas:
- to set it unskinned ?
- to set it with the current skin defaut background colour of special images ?

By default it has Skin default written in it, but clicking on it should show you 29 other options.

So SKS6 has the ability to set the explorer background within the skin, as with Toolbar Icons? Will it autoconvert a .png on import & what are the image constraints (size, etc.)?

Thanks.

I would like to ask this again. I just found this thread and updated to the latest beta of WB to have this. I too would like to use my own. I added an image to the directory where they are stored and it does not show up in the box of items you can select. Anyone have any input?

The only thing I did not try was to edit/save over one of the images already in the folder. I'll try that next.

even tried copying one, opening that, selecting all, clearing, filling with my own flood amd saving

moved the original out - renamed the copy == big white box in WB
