GalCiv II Noob, Help needed

I have never played GalCiv before and I am completely lost. The tutorials were fun and all but now that I have started a campaign I have absolutely no idea what to do. Could anyone give me a few tips or show me to a walk through just so I can get started? Thanks guys.

Try visiting > The Galactic Core as there are a number of really good walkthroughs there and help by some very experienced players.
