Unable to install apps with SDC under Vista

What version of SDC?
Try running the version you have as admin. It will likely update.

looks like that worked.

Why didn't it give me the option to do so , like other applications , when I ran it. Is it because I ran it from an ObjectDock shortcut ( that menu option was available to me when I did though ) ?
