OD+ 1.90 System Tray Icons..Beta not showing up in SDC?

Someone in another thread mentioned that to get their system tray into their dock they went on Stardock Centeral and used the beta
https://forums.wincustomize.com/?forumid=176&aid=171284
but when i follow the instructions given, the beta doesn't come up as an option. has anyone else had this problem, and if so what did you do to resolve it?

As far as I know the current version of OD is 1.90[b].020 If you've got that loaded, you're there.

If you're not seeing it in the "Misc" section, make sure you've got the box checked to "Show pre-release versions".

You might be experiencing the Vista equivalent of the user access restrictions described WWW Link

That thread is talking about XP, but it probably applies to Vista also under the right circumstances.

I don't know Vista, but the short story would be Does the systray dock work when you log in as an Administrator but not as a restricted user? If logged in as a restricted user, does the systray dock work if you start Object Dock with elevated/administrative privaleges (however a person does that with Vista)?

If that's what is happening to you, you might want to tack a note onto that thread to let Seabass know it also applies to Vista. I'd imagine they'll be looking at Vista for it while they are looking at it on XP, but it wouldn't hurt to let him know you're seeing it now.

The [b] signifies beta :) (acutally it's 1.90i[b].020)

The current "release" version is 1.90.026

Guess that's why he can't find it and I don't see it.   Had to go back into SDC and make sure I'm not having a "blurred vision day"(half-joking, but kind of true).

I know this is stated in the other thread but people often miss the "show pre-release" box at the bottom. It won't default on or off after the first install where it is set to on. So if you turned it off it stays off.
