After the success on the Troll Thumping Day Suite some members of the Mother Thumpers are coming together to create the "Happy Birthday Suit(e)".

I envision this suite centered around a DX gadget that counts down to your birthday. On your birthday the gadget will prompt you to download the most recent incarnation of the suite components so for your special day, your desktop will celebrate with you.

At this point we have some components assigned to artists but this is a collaborative project and welcome input and assistance from everyone. Please jump in and help out if you'd like.

The background 'glass' on the menu only appear on mouseover. For some reason, when I press control>PrtScrn for the screenshot, they all pop-up. Otherwise, the mouseovers work very well.

Okay...here is the first set of graphics. Mostly whatever you see in the screenshot....but no Winky. I want to get the animation done.

before I post the link, I have to get a plug in here. You'll be downloading from my Goowy Desktop Virtual File Storage. I've been using Goowy for a while. It has email, file storage, and too many other things to list...and it's all FREE. I am truly loving this site as my new Desktop. have 1 question can you make it for a top start menu too

explanation: When the taskbar is at the top of the desk top..

So that winky will hold on /hang from the bottom of the start menu or something..

If at all possible /or you even want to..

I have been trying to figure out what to do about the start button...I hadn't thought about the animation. Thank you for the brain hemorrhage I'm about to have.

I suppose I would have to make a second animation...but I think a top style would have to actually be a substyle.

If we can agree that it's at a set state, others can start working on thier parts.

Can we agree that this is enought to work with?  You need to assume that there may be more tweaks and you may have to adjust.

I'll keep adding graphics for you all to download as I go along.
Special images (like Winky and stuff outside the skin) will be made available as they come up..BUT feel free to add your own!!! It's a community thing, ya' know!!!
