My Window Blinds won't work

Hi Guys

I brought windowblinds, installed it and it wouldn't work, not on anything, i kept uninstalling, reinstalling and rebooting as necessary, i did get it up once on the taskbar but while it was on there i couldn't open IE, OE and one other programme i always use Pando.....i couldn't shut down in the usual way so i had to just click the button on the tower, i restarted and again the same thing happened, just on the taskbar and not letting me open anything up......i obviously uninstalled it again, and everything worked fine......please can someone help me, i just love my windowblinds and this is doing my head in, thanks, here is my info.....

Sorry running windows XP SP2.........have had windowblinds 4 and 5 working on here ok

Katie-uk to start with, since you say you had run WB4 & 5, do you have any of those versions still on your computer? If so, uninstall all of them including 6, even use a registry cleaner to clean up any links. Have you purchased just WB6 or ObjectDesktop? What are you using to download WB? If you haven't downloaded Stardock Central do so and use that. You can get it here WWW Link. It's free.

Once you downloaded it use SDC to register WB or ObjectDesktop, which ever you brought. Then use SDC to download WB. Should work fine. One other thing to do in SDC, mark the box for pre-release versions. That will get you the most current beta update. Hopefully that will clear up your problems. Post back and let us know.

Thanks for answering, i'm not too sure what you mean, sorry not very computer savvy  :d , i don't have alot on here, just Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, my Epsom camera stuff, Nero and Pando and McAfee

Thank you for answering too! I have a new hard drive so no there is no other version on here. Yes i did just purchase windowblinds, as for what am i using to download, again not sure what you mean, just downloaded it and then installed it. I will go and get stardock central and register my windowblinds,will post later to let you know if it worked, thanks! fingers crossed.........   :D

Katie, the SDC installs seem to be much less problematic than the "stand-alone" installs. Hope it works for you.
