Object Desktop

    Hello,

    Just a few more questions before I purchase Object Desktop.   I already have the paid version of WB6....Icon Packager.  I also have Cursor XP.  Since Object Desktop has these software programs.....will Object Desktop effect those programs that I already have on my pc (WB6....Icon Packager....Cursor XP).  Do I need to uninstall those programs before installing Object Desktop?  Or just leave everything alone and Object Desktop will install just want it needs?  I hope this making sense to you.  Thank you in advance for your assistance.    :D

CursorXP (and FX) are not part of ODNT . . so that's a wash.
Your other apps are fine where they are.  Me, I'd uninstall them and reinstall via SDC.  That way it can handle archiving and updateing through SDC.

If I uninstall my WB6 and Icon Packager........and then install thru SDC (after purchase of Object Desktop) ......won't I lose all the WB skins and IP skins that I now have? Thank you.

You should be given the option to keep them . . but if you want ot be safe . . copy them somewhere else during the process.

I'll hijack this thread instead of making a new one...

When you buy desktop is it necessary to keep subscribing to it or will I still be able to update the programs that I have via SDCentral, or Impulse as it will be?

Subscribing will get you a year of updates.  After your subscription ends (WHY would you let THAT happen?!?!?) you can use the last version of the app forever.
