Well the Test Battles are over, and now the campaign will start in earnest. Most of the players have worked a few bugs out of their armies, and have made some changes to the army lists that they had previously. Here are the results of the battles that were held in the last week along with a short description of the events that happened at the battle.
Tomb Kings vs. Hordes of Chaos
Harrison Martin
The battle was very brutal with noth of the units that accompanied the generals ending up in close combat, by the turn 2 due to Harrisons casting of the incantation of urgency with a 2, which Martin failed to disspell. The largest fight was between a large unti of skeletons, chaos warriors, ushabti, and marauders all hacking at each other in the same melee. In the end it was the chosen warriors of Khorne that won the battle for the Hordes of chaos. By completely anihalating the tomb guard, and the tomb prince. However Martin also lost a full unit of warriors to the Ushabti, which proved theri effectivness. The final outcome was a SOLID VICTORY for the Hordes of Chaos.
Dark Elves vs. Lizardmen
Paul Nathan
Though slow to start once combat was joined it was a trully bloody spectacle. Nathans lizards saw off all comers with him only loosing a single unit of skinks, that ran off the board after being decimated by the dark magic of the elves. Paul however cold only watch as the saurus warriors chewed through a regimant of witch elves, aand a unit of dark riders before the battle was finished. The final outcome was a SOLID VICTORY for the cold blooded Lizards from Lustria.
Hordes of Chaos vs. Lizardmen
Martin Nathan
Both armies were ery heavily into close combat, Nathan achieved some early points by killng several warriors, and marauders with poisoned darts from his skink unit. In combat the Chosen of Khorne, showed that they could easily defeat the lizardmen's Saurus warriors. But in the end Marint lost his unit of warriors, and the furies to nathan's voracious Kroxigors. And at the final points score the end result was a MINOR VICTORY for the Lizardmen.
Martin has already been rethinking his army list, and it has been posted for all to see, the other players have also made changes in some ways and their lists will soon be posted.
