ObjectDock Free == Fine, ObjectDock Plus == Sloooow

I was running the ObjectDock Free with no problems, bought and installed the Plus version and now it's running slow.

Using Win XP.

Nothing else seems to be slowed, just OD.

For instance, flyout on the weather takes 8-10 secs to display then stays on screen another 10 secs after moving mouse.

Right click to add/change settings takes 5 secs to activate.

Again, I was not having this problem 20 minutes ago with the free version.

Can not get proggy to uninstall from control panel. So that I can try a reinstall.

Stardock central allowed me to install latest beta (537u) - no change in slowness with beta vs. original DL'd version.

What docklets are you running. Those are usually the cause of slowdowns.

Also, did you uninstall and reboot the free version?  The full doesn't always play along well with it.

Just running the default installed docklets.

I uninstalled the free version, but I don't think I rebooted.

Whoops, just moused over the dock and everything is running fine, I think Stupid Windows Defender™ may have been scanning...hmm it shouldn't have been at this time of day, but looking at it's craptastic log file it seems to have just stopped. For some reason it has been chewing on my Hotkey program for 4 hours.

Never mind.

Sorry for troubling you all.

Thank you for your help. It's nice to know that if I have a real problem support is out there.

Double check video drivers if this is a Vista install. We have had some dramatic improvements by doing that. Laptops doubly so.
