Wincustomize Old Style Downloading

I havent been on Wincustomize for a long time. Now, I see you can no longer save the main file on a download, it only downloads as a temporary file. I used to be able to download using right click "save as", so that if ever needed to reload my computer, I could alway reload my favorite windowblinds without having to go download them all over again. Any way I can do that under the new format? Thanks to any replies.

Where it downloads is up to you. If you're using Stardock Central just click on Tools, Settings, Advanced and you can set the directory where you want it. Once a blind is loaded in Window Blinds it automatically stores it in your Shared Documents folder for you. So no need to keep a separate copy of the theme(unless you want to). I hope that clears it up. :)

The issue is controlled by your browser and not the site. If you use FireFox for example it should give you the option to download or run. The download directory is set in the options dialog so you would know where to look for the download. Opera has a similar setup.

It sounds to me like your using Internet Explorer. I haven't used versions 6 or 7 much so I can't help you there.

'Right click- save as' works still ... always has.  It's how I download any/all content from Wincustomize. [specifically IE7]...;)

Thanks for the tips, I didnt know about Stardock Central and am downloading it now. When I would try to right click and 'save as' it would give me an error that it couldnt open it in Internet Explorer. Hopefully Stardock Central will resolve my issue. Otherwise may be a corrupt IE. Thanks everyone!
