How can I PM people?

Ok, this may sound like a total n00b question but I can't seem to figure out how to PM people in this forum WITHOUT having to click on their names....

japongt that's how it's done.

Now if you are saying you want to PM someone that you can't find their name in a post, just go their WinCustmize Home Page, if they have one, and you can email them from there.  ;)

I am on that person's WinCustomize Home Page but there's not link anywhere asking to PM or send E-Mail, there was, I'm sure I would have figured it out...

japongt, if they have elected to receive email it would should up under their name, like it does on yours or mine. Atleast that's how I remember it working, could be wrong.

I didn't assume anything, bad things happen when you do that. :LOL: 

Having said that, you chose not to identify that information in your profile. That only leaves two choices, 50% chance of being either right or wrong. ;)

japongt you can always do a search in the forums to pull up any posts by the person you want to pm.

But I can only search for threads/posts, not members. Which is no use to me since I don't know what posts the person has made.

um you type the name in to the search box and whammo.. it lists posts they have made .. you open one, then click on their name to open the pm prompt..

It won't help if they haven't created any threads. The profiles *really* need a "PM this user" link under the email one.
