You can upload your avatar through joeuser.com > My Account > Images.
Windowblinds shouldn't cause problems with internet access. Your problem is likely skin/browser specific. Try changing skins or browsers and see if the problem persists.
Avatar uploading is broken at the moment. As for IDM, exclude it from being skinned in WB config.
Would be a good idea to start your own post and not bring up one that is 2+ years old.
