Language problem???

Hi, My WB6 generally works fine. However I have one prog that, whilst WB is running, will not run. With WB running I get the following error message every time I try to start it:

"The STEP language module could not load the file C:\WINDOWS\language\latin.lng for the language English. The programme cannot continue."

Unload WB and it is fine again! My question is therefore: what does WB do to language settings (et al) to cause this, and is there any way round it?

Thanks.

(STEP in this context refers to the STEP Book/Text Reader as used with many reference works, such as Bibles, Dictionaries, Ref works, etc. - in the case it is part of Quickverse 6.)

Your beset bet might be to exclude the app calling the STEP file.
You can exclude apps from WB by going to the WB config, "Settings" tab, "Change the look of an App", "Add per application Setting" and browse to an app.  Then choose the first option, "Ignore this app"

I did try that (to no avail) but it is perfectly possible that I did not excluse the right calling .exe. (The STEP functions themselevs are, as far as I can see, all in .dll - no .exe). But I will go through it again, and more methodically. Thanks for at least letting me know I am probably on the right lines!
