WB6 Start Bar problem

I've been using WindowBlinds for years, off and on. I just recently uninstalled v5.5 and upgraded to v6.01. after installing WB and applying a skin, now I find that when I right-click on my start bar, the normal menu that pops-up won't display. this is the menu that allows you to change toolbars that are visible on the start bar, open up your task manager, and adjust the start bar properties (such as auto-hide, Lock/Unlock, etc). Under normal conditions you can right click on any portion of the start bar that does NOT have a menu icon, or an open appliation name/button, or taskbar icon and it will open up the start bar properties menu. But if I use any windowblinds theme at all, the menu disappears, and to make matters worse, it seems as though my startbar/explorer reset and it tends to lock up the computer for about 20 seconds.

I'm using XP, SP2 and I've only noticed this problems since installed WB6.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
