Where does the blame really belong: Fog causes 70-car crash

... or, was it perhaps a bunch of idiotic drivers who weren't controlling their vehicles well enough?

Gotta love headlines like: Fog Causes 70-Car Pileup in Fla.; 4 Dead

Yeah, I'm sure it was all the fault of the Fog and that the idiotic drivers that weren't leaving enough space between vehicles, weren't controlling their speed, and were tailgating were absolutely not at fault... As if.

All part of how the media never wants to deal with issues of personal responsibility. :-/

Yeah, I'm sure it was all the fault of the Fog
End of quote

no you see it is like that phone pole that jumped out in front of the car.

the fog reached out with it's hands(wispy) and grabbed those cars and flung them into each other. it wasn't the fault of the drivers that were driving to fast.

I must be really tired.....I thought it said FROG causes 70 car crash....sigh.

But that's nearly as stupid as reality....

The media being left and all, of course no "person" is ever responsible.  It has to be some outside force.

Maybe the writer had just left an old Horror flick marathon when all of the sudden, the thick fog enveloped the car. Time and reason hung in the balance as the solidness of the hood seemed to dance between dimensions. In the clammy night air, the fog swallowed hard and the reporter's car disappeared completely, only to reappear in...

THE TWILIGHT ZONE!!

That, or the idea of blaming all those people who just lived through a terrible accident for their own lack of wisdom.

Who know?

I know who's fault it is. It is the reporters fault. They wanted another bad story to report.
