Which version is it?

I've just updated WB6 through Stardock Central. In there, it says the currently installed version is 6.01 (6.01c[b].106, specifically). However, when I view System Info from within WB6 itself, it says I'm using 6.02. So... which version is it? 6.01 or 6.02?

Both are correct, it is a beta release, thus 6.01c[b].106 beta for what will be 6.02 release version when out of beta, which is why WB system info shows as 6.02.

I don't use SDC, but am curious when updating with SDC does it inform you when you're updating with a beta version? Doesn't sound like it.

Yes, it definitely informs you, and you can choose not to display beta versions in SDC if you wish.

Thanks Daiwa. That sounds better. SD does too good a job to let something sloppy like that happen. I am relieved ... like it matters
