TA; terror stars/ limit on max asteroid belts?

on one of the the last TA games i set up, i intentionall set habitable planets to uncommon but overall planets to abundant. i wanted to try using terror stars to get lots of asteroid mining bases and create an industrial epicenter for warship production.

the first three or four systems worked for this perfectly, but when i got to the next star system, the new asteroid belts would disappear after the star explosion animation had completed.

i'd quicksaved right before blowing the star up (i had a colony in a nearby system, and was worried it might be affected). re-loading, and fully quitting the game and re-loading: neither had an effect.

is this a bug, or is there some kind of intentional limit on total number of asteroid belts you can have on a map?

I noticed this too. It also happened with every star I set off once it started happening.

same thing for me, after the first one i thought it might just be a fluke, and pressed on. i only tried a second time before getting discouraged. so much for that strat.

Yep, I noticed that problem with terrorforming, but was hoping it was a mere statistical fluke until I saw this thread. I really, really hope this isn't "as designed". That would be... bad.

Send that save in (zipped) with your debug and a link back here to [email protected].

There is a limit to how many asteroid fields can be in the galaxy.  Please send in your game as kryo describes so that we can verify that is the case.

Thanks.

Why the limit? Is it for the generation of galaxies? If so, can it not apply past initial generation, please. That nerfs an aspect of Terror Stars.
